Grey Coffee was appointed by Geoff Smith and Georges De Keerle the founders of F/Stop. They both have a shared ambition to create a really unique and meaningful apparel brand. They appointed Grey Coffee to help them develop their brand strategy, brand identity and key customer touch points.

What did success mean for this project?

It’s important we understand how design and business align. This ensures we are on the same page in determining success for the project. Our key focus was to deliver a clarity session which would help to create a brand identity and online experience which would support the launch of the F/Stop brand. Our focus was to create a brand strategy which would impact business growth in the long term when implemented successfully.

A Moment In Time!

What makes an image so timelessly compelling?…often more so than than a painting, a book or a film or any other creative medium, perhaps even music.

As photographers we are constantly looking for that unique moment to capture.. the moment you instantly feel is the exact frame you are looking or waiting patiently for; the reaction, the scene, the event, the story.. the image is caught in a moment in time that exists forever.

As Henri Cartier-Bresson the influential French photographer who coined the term with his book ‘The Decisive Moment’ published in 1952, is quoted as saying.. “To me, photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event as well as of a precise organization of forms which give that event its proper expression.”

He later wrote “To take photographs is to hold one’s breath when all faculties converge in the face of fleeting reality. It is at that moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy.”
At F/Stop we share this passion and philosophy; by collaborating with world renowned photographers and artists, unearthing classic, rare and unseen photographs that tell exciting & revealing stories. Inspired by the world of luxury fashion whilst combining our passion and experience in music and photography, we believe we have created a new series of apparel products that will delight fans of music & street fashion all over the world.

Responsibly sourcing the very best luxury cotton garments from Portugal and using an innovative process, we present photographic images in new and exciting ways that allow the image to take centre stage, to be the focus of attention to share that special moment captured between photographer and artist.. this gives us a unique way to “live in the moment”.

This is our mission and new venture…we are excited to present the F/Stop range of products; a collection of limited-edition luxury apparel presenting the image in it’s original expression captured by the photographer in a moment in time.

Passionate about brand experience & design Grey Coffee combines the expertise of a Brand Consultancy & a Commercial Interior Design Agency

Established in 2010 Grey Coffee set out to design brands and shape digital experiences that would impact business growth and brand loyalty. Since then Grey Coffee has evolved, we have a wealth of understanding and experience that enables us to create successful brands that are able to sustain long term growth.

We have developed our own unique brand strategy workshops, provided brand consultancy for a number of very successful brands (see our client list above) and continue to evolve our brand expertise and services when it comes to brand storytelling, brand communication and brand design.

Over the years it became clear to us that businesses struggle to consistently communicate their brand across every customer touchpoint. When the opportunity arose for us to be involved with a complete brand transformation which included the interior design of a commercial space it made us stop and totally rethink and re-imagine the future of Grey Coffee.

The project made us review the impact of brand design and Commercial Interior Design on the overall customer experience. It became really clear to us that the two are intrinsically connected.

Fast forward to today Grey Coffee is widely recognised as a hospitality agency that has successfully delivered a wide range of projects including; bar interior design, cafe interior design, coffee shop interior design, restaurant interior design and restaurant branding.
