T2 are an interactive design studio and needed a collaborative design partner who could help provide brand strategy and digital transformation not only for their own brand but also for a number of products that fell under their brand umbrella.

What did success mean for this project? 

It’s important we understand how design and business align. This ensures we are on the same page in determining success for the project. For T2 we were required to provide on-going support and creative leadership for all brand strategy and digital transformation. We worked with the founder, creative director and wider design team.

Your Integrated Visual Agency

Grey Coffee have completed a number of projects with T2. When we first started working together it became clear that the brand did not reflect who they were and why customers should care about what they do. There was such a creative team behind the brand that was oozing with ideas and creativity. We needed to bring all this together and with a series of brand strategy workshops we were really able to unlock the vision, purpose, culture and started to explore some really exciting ideas around the refreshed T2 identity.

We started to look at brand alignment across the whole estate making sure that email signatures, business cards, marketing collateral, brochures and the website were updated and inline with the new communication, look and feel and brand strategy. Much of the work was split between GC and T2 and we really developed some great collaborative and agile design teams.

Alongside that we worked on a number of interactive progressive web applications (PWA). These were intended to be product extensions from the T2 brand so it was important that we considered the strategy behind these.
Again, we held collaborative workshops which enabled us to all agree on the brand strategy, we refined the branding and brand communication and started to review each product. Each of the interactive products would need to be developed to work on oversized interactive screens, tablets and mobile too.

For each product we carried out a number of UX use cases and scenario based research to understand how this product would be sold and installed so that it could be offered and ordered as a complete solution. We held a number of design sprints which helped us to develop the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). GC provided a development team to help with the coding of the product and collectively we carried out all the debugging and testing. These interactive products are now being widely used in sales offices across the UK.
